As they say.........i have arrived. At my sister's house about 1.5 hours from dc. Just walked to the bus stop at the end of the road to the house 2 get my niece. Apparently an adult must be present or the child cannot get off the bus. Perhaps i shouldn't have worn my sunglasses. The bus driver asked me to take them off and confirm i was the uncle. A good thing in todays world.

Diagnosis: scaphoid break- fracture. Foxy doxy is putting the cast on his arm now. Then a ct scan and then home......... The distict comes back in a week 2 c how healing is and then they'll decide if surgery required.

Well, imagine my surprise this morning; while doing my jane fonda, the phone rings and it's the district. God onlx knows, but at some point during last nights festivities, jay fell and possibly broke his arm. Well i hopped out oe bed, threw on a wig burned down u st. We are in triage now. Blood pressure 136 over 70. More 2 follow.

Yes! We are at the greek festival and I am once again first in line for my lamb! Bad news..........no booze! They lost their permit bcuz someone left the premises last festival wgvh a beer and the booze nazis caught him. Never fear........their is a bar close by!

Secret Garden

I guess the garden really isn't secret at all. Anyone happening to walk within a 5 block radius gets a phone call from RJ asking them to swing by and take a look! He is still struggling with his internet access and I haven't taken the time to teach him mobile blogging yet so I am adding yet another post on his behalf. Here's the first pic message he sent of his 2008 Garden! The first of many I'm sure!

Post Two: New Blog Title

The most appropriate name for this blog might be Chimney Fall II, but per instructions, I have amended the title. It shall now be called, "Between U and Me," so sayeth Lord RJ of U Street. The web address for that name is also taken so MyUStreet.blogspot.com shall remain.

I was asked to mention that he won't be mobile blogging until he secures a new camera phone as the quality of his current device is inadequate. I'm guessing the sort of 'chimney' pictures that will end up on this blog are unlikely to lose their blogworthiness due to the picture quality. ...just sayin'.

Just between U and I

I tried all combinations of U and I but they appear to be taken. I've settled on "MyUStreet.blogspot.com" as the address to set up for my friend RJ. It is time for her to blog about what happens on the street!
